I can't agree more!!!! I'm so sick of seeing my incredible, talented children made to feel dumb because they don't meet an antiquated education system's idea of smart. The problem is... to change will take years, it's taken over ten years just to change the way math is taught in our schools and we still have teachers who are struggling to get it... It might be our childrens grandchildren who may benefit if we start something now...
I know first hand how harmful this kind of bullying is, i took my kids out of school to get them away from the face to face and now we deal with this kind of thing at least once a month. All it takes is one kid to say one thing... and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Its so much easier for kids to be horrible when they can't see the broken hearts and tears. That's the only thing missing in this video... you don't see the harm it does to the victim.
